While Patient Experience Week 2020 was officially recognized April 27 - May 1, we understand the current healthcare pandemic prevented some from celebrating at that time. We encourage you to choose the most appropriate time for your organization to recognize PX Week. Our ultimate hope is that it provides a focused time for you to celebrate accomplishments, re-energize efforts and honor the people who impact patient experience everyday. The resources available through our website are accessible year-round to offer ideas and inspiration to support planning when you are ready. We look forward to seeing your contributions!
PX Week will be observed annually, beginning the final Monday in April.
Patient Experience Week is an annual event to celebrate healthcare staff impacting patient experience everyday. Inspired by members of the Institute community, PX Week provides a focused time for organizations to celebrate accomplishments,
re-energize efforts and honor the people who impact patient experience everyday. From nurses and physicians, to support staff and executive professionals, to patients, families and communities served, the Institute hopes to bring together healthcare organizations across the globe to observe PX Week.

How Can The Beryl Institute help?
The Beryl Institute has created a list of resources
to assist you with planning a recognition program with suggestions for activities you can implement and offers a list of audiences you should remember during your celebration. You can also purchase a variety of products for use throughout the week and
entire year as recognition gifts and reminders of your patient experience efforts.
We encourage you to share this information with members of your staff so everyone can be an active participant in the planning and implementation process. Remember, this information is meant only as a guide for your promotional activities, so feel free to add your own ideas to develop the perfect week for your staff.
