The Beryl Institute has released full findings from the 2013 State of Patient Experience Study. Research from the study, which included responses of almost 1,100 healthcare leaders from over 670 unique organizations, reveals that patient experience remains a top and increasing priority for American Hospitals. The benchmarking study, which was completed in collaboration with Catalyst Healthcare Research, also shows drivers and roadblocks to success for improving patient experience. Respondents acknowledged that while positive trends continue, more awareness of patient experience is still needed among healthcare organizations.
