PFACs: Where’s the Money? The Financial Impact on Hospitals

Since the first Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) were started in the late 1990s, more than 2,000 hospitals have launched a PFAC. Yet, about 60 percent of hospitals still have not adopted a PFAC.
