WHAT IS YOUR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT IN YOUR ROLE?
In 2005, we were pioneers who first began to provide real-time patient feedback solutions. At that time, it was a novel concept to improve team engagement, patient experience and care quality. Since then, we have added coach advisory services, taking real-time data collection to the next level and solidifying performance improvement outcomes for our clients across the care continuum.
WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YOU ARE CURRENTLY FACING?
Healthcare leaders are working at an incredible pace to fulfill the mission of their organization in an environment of ever-tightening financial and time constraints. While our solutions help address these challenges, it is often difficult to gain the attention of busy leaders to explain how we can help them achieve their goals while saving time, effort and money.
WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ON THE FUTURE OF PATIENT EXPERIENCE?
The silos between those working to improve patient experience, safety, staff engagement, clinical outcomes, access, and financial performance across the entire care continuum will continue to come down. This is a "must” to increase the momentum and impact of the patient experience movement.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN WHEN NOT WORKING?
My favorite activity is bicycling (even in the midst of Minnesota winters!). In particular, I love the focus required and adrenalin rush from mountain biking. My claim to biking fame is racing twice against Lance Armstrong in the Leadville 100 (mile) Mountain Bike Race, almost all of which takes place above 10,000 feet of altitude. By the way, Lance beat me both times.
