Emerging Leaders Program - FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The Emerging Leaders Program is designed for individuals who are newer to or aspiring to a PX Leader role and those who have an investment in and/or level of operational accountability for experience outcomes (i.e., PFAs, Unit Managers/Directors, etc.).

This virtual program includes four virtual facilitated two-hour sessions, one session per week, over a four-week period and application work in between sessions. Before the weekly online sessions, participants will access a robust set of resources from The Beryl Institute that may include white papers, PXJ articles, podcasts and other relevant resource such as blogs or webinars. Working in small groups, participants come to the online session ready to report out to the group as a whole, sparking meaningful discussion and sharing of ideas and practices. This approach creates an “all teach, all learn” atmosphere that supports a greater level of peer engagement and readiness for the final week four report out with Jason Wolf.

Yes. The Emerging Leaders Program is built on respecting the power of community and the “magic” that can happen when community members share ideas. Participants will have the opportunity to work in four different peer groups over the course of the program, providing a variety of perspectives and ideas for patient experience practices. In addition, this approach provides space for inspiration, something that can be equally important as learning specific tactics or practices.

Tiffany Christensen, VP for Experience Integration, is facilitating the August, 2020, Emerging Leader Program. Tiffany has a unique point of view that ensures the conversation will go beyond the surface and move into something meaningful for the participants. In addition, Jason Wolf, President and CEO of The Beryl Institute, will share his insights during the Experience Plan report-out in week 4 of the program.

Participants will leave the course equipped with an Experience Framework Plan supported by resources and tested solutions.

Yes, PXE credits will be offered for the program, pending approval.
