Why Attend

Continuing Education

To support the consistent and continuous development of patient experience professionals, Patient Experience Conference offers continuing education credits to qualifying participants. To qualify, conference attendees must complete a post-event survey verifying their participation within 30 days of the completed event.

Patient Experience Continuing Education (PXE), Continuing Medical Education (CME), Other learners using AMA designated certificates (PAs. NPs. and Nurses) and Social Work credits are available to qualifying participants. NAHQ education credits pending approval. Specific session credit listing coming soon.


Through Patient Experience Institute (PXI), pre-conference workshops pending approval for 2.5 PXEs and main conference program pending approval for a maximum of 10.25 PXEs. PXI is an independent, non-profit, committed to the improvement of patient experience through evidence-based research, continuing education and professional certification. PXEs can be applied towards Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP) applications and/or to maintain certification designation.



This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Saint Louis University School of Medicine and the Beryl Institute.  Saint Louis University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

American Medical Association

Saint Louis University designates this live main activity for a maximum of 10.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for pre-conference workshops. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Other Learners (Nurses and other type learners)

Saint Louis University School of Medicine will provide other learner certificates (for nurses and other type learners). The certificate will state the activity was designated for 10.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and, if applicable, 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for pre-conference workshops. Follow your boards requirements for reciprocal CE credits.

American Academy of Physician Assistants: AAPA (CME)

AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME. PAs may receive a maximum of 10.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and, if applicable, 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for pre-conference workshops for completing this activity.

Social Work

Saint Louis University School of Social Work is an approved provider in Missouri and a Registered Social Work Continuing Education Sponsor in Illinois-License # 159.000573. Social workers outside of this regional area can contact their state’s regulatory board for any concerns related to use of continuing education credits for social work licensure. The School of Social Work Continuing Education can award 10.25 CEH’s for specific sessions in this conference and, if applicable, 2.5 CEH’s for pre-conference workshops.
