Personal Patient Experience Outranks Health Industry Satisfaction

 - Good patient-provider relationships in primary care have led to mostly positive patient experiences, although patient perceptions of the health system at large leave something to be desired, the Beryl Institute reported in its inaugural PX Pulse.

PX Pulse, published in partnership between the Beryl Institute and Ipsos, culminates in quarterly survey results to provide a glimpse into patient perceptions of US healthcare.

“This exciting partnership with The Beryl Institute will provide healthcare providers, insurers, policymakers and other stakeholders with a detailed understanding of Americans' perceptions of their patient experience,” Clifford Young, president of Public Affairs for Ipsos, said in a statement.
