Brief Bio:

Lee Tomlinson is a C-level executive, customer service expert, author and cancer survivor. During his varied career, he has owned a famous Hollywood studio, built another, raised tens of millions of dollars for a national charity and produced a decade long series of network TV Specials for CBS. As a customer service consultant, he based his approach on what has always made him successful – treating people right. Following a recent battle with Stage 3 cancer, Lee has devoted his life to one mission: teaching healthcare professionals to provide more compassionate "service” to all of their patients, all of the time.

Lee has experience speaking to all types of groups – from global Fortune 500 companies to colleges and universities, to a myriad of professional organizations. He knows the meaning of "patient-centered care” from his own experience, and he utilizes his customer service expertise to teach doctors, hospitals and health systems how to consistently provide it. Combining passionate storytelling with compelling facts and figures, Lee helps healthcare organizations create the culture, practices and procedures necessary to provide exceptional patient care, improve patient satisfaction, inspire employee engagement and compassion – and increase the bottom line. Lee is the author of two books and working on another: Beyond Good, Beyond Great: To Legendary Customer Service, WAYMISH: Why Are You Making It So Hard… (For me to give you my money?) and Patient–Centered Care…Do or Die: How My Cancer Can Raise Your HCAHP Scores.
