Brief Bio and Relevant Credentials:

A lifelong activist for creating healing environments for patients, families and the entire healthcare team, Wendy Leebov works with hospitals, health systems and medical practices to achieve breakthroughs in the patient and family experience.

Leebov is Managing Partner of Language of Caring, LLC and previously the Leebov Golde Group. Before that, Wendy was Vice President and change coach for the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia where she worked for 20 years.

A self-described communication fanatic, Leebov has written more than 12 books on the patient experience and service excellence. She also has developed the highly acclaimed, web-based programs The Language of Caring for Staff and with Dr. Carla Rotering, The Language of Caring for Physicians. Her latest book with co-author Carla Rotering, MD is The Language of Caring Guide for Physicians: Communication Essentials for Patient-Centered Care.

Wendy earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Oberlin College. Wendy Leebov is a breast-cancer survivor and has been a watchful and engaged family member through the prolonged, life-threatening illnesses of her sister, mother and friends.
