Anthony has worked in marketing since 1979 and in healthcare marketing and patient experience since1985, holding senior level roles reporting to the CEO. With a Masters Degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania he is well positioned to serve as a facilitator as well as review and assess company culture and dynamics so that behaviors can be changed that productively help the organization implement and achieve its goals. Mr. Cirillo is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a credential few marketers possess. Being able to tie all aspects of hospital operations together, he can provide better insight into how they should be marketed.
Mr. Cirillo’s is a past board member in the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. He is a frequent speaker at national conferences. And he was the only U.S. consultant asked to speak at the 1st Middle East Marketing Forum in Dubai. Industry innovators from Cleveland Clinic, Harvard Medical School and John Hopkins joined him. He has spoken and consulted in the Middle East several times since.
Anthony started his career as a senior level marketer for several health systems in Philadelphia in the 1980s and 90s before helping to launch a Wall Street startup, Touchstone Health, in 2000, working with seniors throughout New York City. During that period he served as an at-large member of the SHSMD Board of Directors. Anthony is an international consultant and thought leader that helps leaders connect the dots that spark health care movements.
Anthony has a mission side of his life devoted to older adults. He is the About.com Expert Guide for Senior Care. His book "Who Moved My Dentures?” debunks myths about aging. He spends hundreds of hours in nursing homes entertaining and bringing joy to seniors. He has keynoted numerous long-term care and care giving conferences; has a top-rated blog devoted to educated aging choices and is a guest blogger in the field. Anthony is on the board of CCAL and a member and workgroup co-chair of The Dementia Action Alliance.
Anthony not only helps organizations reach the boomer and senior population through his expertise but also acts as a conduit in reaching them through his versatile talents.
