There was a time, very recently, when Jason Wolf, PhD, the president of the Beryl Institute in Washington, DC, could talk about patient experience and people would think he was referring to the food you get in hospitals or whether the parking was easy. The amenities and the physical environment of a hospital are, indeed, part of the patient experience.
