We forget to praise what we see as “expected” behavior, and we tend to avoid confrontation with people not performing up to par because we aren’t sure how to handle it, and we expect it will be difficult and emotional. This session covers the hows and whys of giving feedback.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• List at least 6 ways to make praise effective
• Describe at least 4 characteristics of effective coaching
• Explain how to conduct a disciplinary meeting with an employee
