The Pediatric Community is a professional forum to address the needs of those servicing pediatric patients and their families in all care settings. The community provides a collaborative space and venue for sharing ideas, practices, challenges and opportunities.
The intention of the Pediatric Community is to:
Create a dynamic space for ongoing peer to peer dialogue, support and influence
Foster relationships by providing the opportunity to network with colleagues and exchange best practices
Provide pediatric related and relevant resources, tools and education
Engage members in the collective work of The Beryl Institute, as the premier thought leader and leading resource on improving the patient experience in healthcare
The Pediatric Work Groups help support the work and provide direction for the community. There are currently Work Groups focused on Conference and Education. More Work Groups will be added soon.
A core piece for ongoing dialogue is the Pediatric Community Gathering. The primary purpose of the community gathering is to engage in facilitated discussion to share ideas, strategies and questions, and to provoke deeper thought around the patient experience. The community gathering takes place during the annual Patient Experience Conference.
The Beryl Institute’s Learning & Professional Development offerings includes a Pediatric Listserv and may include Pediatric focused content in the following:
- Topic Calls
- White paper
- Case Study
- On the Road
- PX Conference
